DuFlon is committed to a sustainable future for our environment, our community, and our business.DuFlon has undertaken several measures towards Sustainability and CSR.
In-house ETPs (Effluent Treatment Plants) and STPs (Sewage Treatment Plant) have been setup to treat wastewater which is later used for gardening, cleaning and sanitation purposes. The remaining waste is given to Municipal Solid Waste Management.
Tree planation activities carried out at multiple locations on “National Environment Day”.
Regular programs conducted to promote “Environment Friendliness”. On such days’ employees commute to office using public transportation, bicycles or on foot.
Safety Campaigns are conducted in our communities to spread awareness on Road Safety.
Under “Swachch Bharat Abhiyan” initiatives have been taken to clean surroundings and promote clean and green environment.
Celebration of safety week which includes safety competition i.e. safety quiz, safety painting, safety slogan, safety essay, etc.
Under EOHS implementation, and MP-AP (Management Programme – Action Plan) we have set the following goals to promote Environment, Health and Safety:
o Reduction in Energy Consumption
o Reduction in generation of Teflon Shavings
o Reduction in Unsafe Condition
o Reduction in Water Consumption
o Reduction in Generation of Hazardous Waste
o Adopt and ensure maximum use of renewable energy resources i.e. Solar Energy Initiated process on IMS – Integrated Management System of our 3 Standards (ISO 9001:2015 | ISO 14001:2015 | ISO 45001:2018).
A common audit for the 3 Standards will enable us to save time, manpower and documentation
Conducting energy audits (both internal & external) to focus on energy conservation
Conducting regular awareness trainings on Environment, Health and Safety for our Vendors and Associates
Annual medical test for all DuFlon employees to promote better health awareness
DuFlon has a green MPCB (Maharashtra Pollution Control Board) consent for zero discharge
