DuTech range of components can be considered as the ancillary products used in engineering applications.Plastic or Fluoropolymer components are moulded and machined to meet customers particular requirements. Although all products are made to customer specific drawings, typical components include ball valve seats, gaskets, washers, filter baskets etc and materials range from simple plastics such as Nylon, Delrin, UHMWPE to specialist fluoropolymers such as PEEK, PCTFE and obviously PTFE. Duflon can cater for one-off quantities upto large scale mass production quantities
Metal machined components are manufactured in our specialist machine shops using extruded rod or tube or cast at our own investment casting foundry and can range from the smallest components from a few mm, upto 1 metre in diameter. Materials range from stainless steels, ductile irons, carbides and exotic alloys such as titanium, tungsten and nickels.
Nozzles for use in electrical, SF6 circuit breaker applications are very specialized products manufactured by Isostatic moulding. Duflon has numerous approvals for these products and supplies these to leading manufacturers all over the world. Blending of resins and moulding are both techniques developed by Duflon engineers.
PTFE Stock shapes / semi finished components are produced using our dedicated equipment such as paste and ram extruders and compression and isostatic moulding presses.
